2010 Golf Tournament
Despite the 41 degree heat there was a massive turnout for the annual Walshs Glass Customer Christmas function - the 2010 Golf Tournament.
A massive THANK YOU goes out to all of our wonderful sponsors, whose support has enabled the day become a huge success.
Friday started off early with our very own Account Manager, Troy Johnson, sinking his vehicle into one of the bunkers! Brad will surely be reconsidering trusting a company car to a "Go-Kart professional".
Welcoming all of our special guests to Glen Iris was none other than International Man of Mystery, Austin Powers and his beautiful Felicity Shagwell, who shared the love with their cheeky innuendoes throughout the day.
Once registration was complete and a light lunch served, our keen golfers headed off to their perspective starting holes to begin the afternoon of serious competitiveness and mischievous shenanigans (false Hole In Ones, golf club pinching, drinks cart esky stealing, and did we see a Golf Cart race at the 2 nd Hole?).
Back at the clubhouse our very own Mark Firby put on a Shave for a Cure fundraiser for the Leukaemia Foundation and our generous donors chipped in to have Felicity give Mark a "Brad Pittesque" make over.
As the scores were tallied and after trying desperately hard to find a way to disqualify past employee, Alistair Black, our placing of the day were as follows:
| 1st Place | Steve Cuff | Walshs Glass |
| Alistair Black | Glasspower | |
| Butch Parker | Parker Aluminium | |

Well done to all our winners!! What a great effort!
Looks like nobody was able to bring out their inner Tiger Woods and take home the $20,000 Hole in One on the 12 th. Perhaps some practicing over the year will prepare everyone for next year!
Dinner and drinks followed the presentations with lots of laughter and banter ending a fantastic fun-filled day.
Please enjoy the photos, as I'm sure they'll bring a smile to your face.
