Want to start 2010 with a new career direction? Walshs Glass believes strongly in investing in training and in its people. We are offering a fantastic opportunity for you to be paid while you learn how to operate computerized, high-tech glass processing machinery. A leading company within the glass industry, our three year in-house traineeship offers on job and off job training in conjunction with a Registered Training Organisation, leading to a Certificate II in Glass Processing.

The program will allow you to learn valuable skills from handling glass, to operating automatic and semi automatic processing machines, along with hand cutting skills, whilst being mentored by some of the most experienced Glass Processors in the industry. Trainees who achieve the necessary standards over the course of this Traineeship will be able to negotiate further Employment with our Company.

In order to be considered for the traineeship you will need;

Enthusiasm to learn a Trade in the Glass Industry

Excellent Work ethic

Good attendance record

Commitment to complete three years of training
