Walshs Glass is a privately owned Company operating since 1971. We are recognised as Western Australia's largest and most successful independent distributor of processed flat glass.
We currently have the opportunity for an experienced and driven Team Coordinator to join our successful Company. This key role is primarily responsible for providing leadership and direction to one of our day shift Teams.
Reporting directly to the Manufacturing Manager, key responsibilities will include:
- Leading and motivating a work team
- Organising and scheduling work
- Ensuring compliance to quality standards
- Cost management
- Maintaining safe working practices
- Promoting professional development
To be successful in this role you will need to be able to demonstrate previous leadership experience within a fast paced and dynamic environment. An awareness of safe work practices and excellent time management skills are essential. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment will be highly regarded and previous experience within the glass industry would be advantageous.
